So many activities, so little time…

We want to draw alongside young people, meeting them informally, inviting them to a lunchtime or after-school club or just ‘being there’ in the playground. In this way we can encourage them to make new friends, learn from great role models and have fun at the same time.

Some of our clubs (for example Youth Alpha) are specifically designed so that young people can explore the big issues of life in a setting where they feel safe to express their own thoughts and listen to others.

And it doesn’t stop at the school gates either. Because our team of youth workers come from local churches, students can also find links to out-of-school activities – during the week, at weekends and in school holidays. Our hope is that they’ll get to know several members of the team and will feel comfortable coming along to some of these events, with or without their friends.
