Harriet joined us in Sept 2017 from her previous role at SCC as a Neighbourhood Youth Worker in the Runnymede Borough. Harriet has worked with children and young people for ten years; including youth and children's ministry for several churches. As Leader of Schools Ministry Harriet is responsible for co-ordinating and developing links between churches and schools, and leading schools work.
Claudia joined us in September 2014 as our Primary Schools Worker. A qualified counsellor with experience of working as a chaplain at St Bede's, Claudia has also spent a number of years in Uganda involved in cross cultural mission. Claudia is looking forward to continuing and developing the mentoring programme that SparkFish offers.
Since joining in April 2017 Lindsey Hardwick has taken on the role of Learn Co-ordinator and is now looking forward to continuing and developing the work of SparkFish. Having worked and volunteered in a variety of different youth work settings including churches, schools and voluntary agencies, Lindsey continues to work for Oasis College overseeing students on Fieldwork placements.
Jen joined us in September 2018 as our Think! Coordinator. She has previously worked in both church and schools ministry settings with children and young people and is looking forward to continuing and developing the Think! strand of our work.
Partner Youth Workers
When he retired in 2009, the opportunity arose to help SparkFish move into a new phase of its life. Paul can see great potential for involving more churches, supporting more schools, and giving every young person the chance to hear what Jesus means to Christian believers. Paul belongs to Holy Trinity Church, and enjoys music, his grandchildren and his spaniel.
Hermione joined us as Trustee in January 2011. She and her husband Paul are the leaders of Redhill Christian Fellowship church, meeting at 10.30am every Sunday in The Harlequin. Hermione is passionate about our ability to engage with all local schools and the young people that go there, and is keen to lend her support.
George is minister of Reigate Park United Reformed Church. Originally from Scotland, he worked for a time in IT before training for the ministry. He has served churches in Southampton and Cheam. He is married to Linda and has 3 boys - Nathan, Jacob and Reuben. In Cheam he was involved in work in Sutton schools and is very excited to be part of SparkFish.
Clare has been involved with SparkFish since its early days. She was involved in devising our aims and values and has helped us to work them out in practice as a Trustee, prayer co-ordinator and leader of a primary school club. She is a member of Holy Trinity Church and mum to four boys.
Viv joined SparkFish in September 2010 and is now a trustee. She is Operations Manager at a local church after spending many years working in London in IT project management and Knowledge Management. An active member of St Mary's church, Viv is a leader for the Sunday evening youth group and enjoys taking young people to Soul Survivor and cooking for them. In her spare time, Viv is mother to two teenage girls.
Wendy is the Bursar at Reigate School and is fully involved in many aspects of school life, including helping the new students to settle in. She joined the Management Team as a Trustee in January 2015. Wendy and her husband Steve are members of Reigate Baptist Church.
As Archdeacon of Reigate, Moira cares for Anglican churches in East Surrey. She joined the trustees of SparkFish early in 2018. She wants to help churches work together to serve young people and hopes to spread this vision throughout her area.
